Caring for your boat cover

CLEANTOGLEAM Canopy Cleaner has been specially developed to remove, dirt, mildew and grease from your boat cover and bimini top. Free from harsh caustic products, it can be used on most coated canvas and vinyl fabrics.

How to use CLEANTOGLEAM Canopy Cleaner for normal to heavy soiling

1. Remove the canopy cover from the boat and place on a flat surface
2. Dampen the surface with water using a fine mist spray – not a pressure washer
3. Spray CLEANTOGLEAM Canopy Cleaner over the cover and leave for 10 to 20 minutes to allow the cleaner to work into stubborn grime and stains
4. Starting from the centre, scrub the cover with a bristle brush or sponge and warm water until the cleaner starts to lather
5. Work outwards towards the edge one square metre at time, rinsing with water to remove the loosened dirt
6. Rinse the entire surface with clean water until all the dirt and cleaner residue has gone
7. Leave the cover in the open air to dry before reattaching to boat
8. If any stains remain, make sure the cover is dry then repeat the process above

Please note that CLEANTOGLEAM doesn’t take responsibility for fading, shrinkage or damage to covers. It’s advisable to test a small section of the fabric first to make sure it doesn’t fade or shrink. And never use a pressure washer on a boat cover as it could damage the fabric.
